Billy Babbino

Director of Church Engagement

Billy graduated from Florida Christian College with a degree in Family and Youth Ministry.  Billy thought he was gonna be a youth pastor his entire life, but after one too many all night lock-ins, that plan changed. Billy worked in church ministry for 12 years after college and then transitioned into the child-welfare world. He worked as an adoption specialist first and then started working in foster care with A Door of Hope in 2017. Whether working in a church or with A Door of Hope, Billy has always desired to point people to the unbelievable love of God while encouraging and equipping followers of Jesus to be His hands and feet to all people, especially the most vulnerable in society. Some of his passions are following and rooting for the New York Mets to an almost obsessive degree, buying books, sometimes reading the books he buys, building cool things with Lego, spending time with his wife and 3 daughters, and eating good quality food like the McRib. Billy’s family attends Restoration Church in Trinity. He tries to live by these words of John the Baptist, “He must become greater; I must become less.”- John 3:30.
