VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

Jenny was a dedicated volunteer with A Door of Hope for two years before coming on staff as the Volunteer Coordinator. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. After spending two decades as a devoted stay-at-home mom, with a brief stint as a lunch lady at Calvary Christian High School, Jenny now channels her passion for helping others into serving the foster community.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending quality time with friends, and finding new ways to give back. While her childhood dream of becoming a fighter jet pilot didn’t take flight, she considers raising a family the next best adventure. Her life is a testament to the value of service, family, and community. Jenny's favorite verse fluctuates with the seasons of life but Hebrews 10:23 is always close to her heart.
