Lydia Adams

LICENSING & SUPPORT SPECIALIST- HILLSBOROUGH

Lydia grew up in Cincinnati and graduated from Malone University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She has always had a passion for children and families. Prior to joining the a Door of Hope family, she was able to intern at En-Rich-Ment, a non profit after school program, and Christian Children's Home of Ohio, a residential facility/foster care agency. After these experiences, she felt called to continue to work in foster care.

She met her husband Bailey while in college, and married on the beach in June of 2023. She is new to Florida, and loves traveling, music, walks on the beach, and anything to do with her dog. A verse that is close to her heart is Psalms 46:5 “God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.
