Temarie Kendall

THERAPEUTIC ASSISTANT

Temarie graduated from Old Dominion University in 2003 with a degree in Human Services Counseling with a minor in psychology and obtained her Master’s in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2006. She has always had a heart and desire to help children who have been abused/neglected/abandoned to show them the love of Christ. After many years later, she is excited to finally use her background and degrees to work for A Door of Hope to help license families who can show those children Christ’s sacrificial love!

Temarie met her husband, who is also her best friend, while attending seminary. They have been married for 17 years and have a 10 year old daughter. They moved from California to Florida at the beginning of January 2022 to be closer to family and to become a part of the Faith Covenant family in St. Petersburg where her husband serves as the small groups/discipleship pastor. They are absolutely loving the Florida life and enjoy spending time together as a family kayaking, hiking, going to the beach, cooking, exercising, and exploring their new area and surrounding areas!

Psalm 19:18 is one of her favorite verses: “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
